Dr Shyam Rathi is one of the leading oncologists based in Dadar, Mumbai. He is a super-specialist trained in chemotherapy administration and has a thriving experience of over 18 years in the field. As a dedicated professional, he is utterly passionate about his profession and is always ready to serve his patients. Dr Shyam specialises in Haematology and is adept at handling treatments like leukaemia and bone marrow transplant.

Recognised as one of the best hemato oncologists, Dr Shyam Rathi is currently working as an Oncologist at Hematology Clinic Daycare and Diagnostic Centre, Dadar and has played an instrumental role in establishing the clinic. He has a vast number of publications in various national as well as international journals. He is regularly invited as a speaker in many national level conferences held all over India.   • Senior Resident:- Dept of Haematology, Christian Medical College, Vellore, India. 2006-2007 (8 months). This included training in both allogeneic and autologous bone marrow transplantation. This is the largest centre for BMT in India.

Research projects

  • Phase II/III trial: Evaluation of Lenalidomide + Cyclophosphamide + Prednisolone combination therapy in multiple myeloma. Project completed as a part of a thesis in DM Haematology and submitted to the institute.
  • Study of JAK2 mutation in patients with splanchnic venous thrombosis. Project completed as a part of theses in DM Haematology and submitted to the institute.
