In Vitro Maturation Of Oocytes

Immature oocytes are cultured for a day for IVM and fertilized after maturation. Because it takes a day for the maturation of oocytes, ICSE will be done after maturation of oocytes either late on the day of OPU or the next day of OPU. Semen Analysis

We perform semen analysis according to WHO 2010 guidelines, and we also analyse spermatozoa based on morphology staining. We also offer fructose testing in the semen.
Leucoscreen is a test which is done in samples with more number of pus cells. This test helps us to eliminate the semen sample with the infection without doing unnecessary semen culture.

Sperm DNA fragmentation

Sperm DNA fragmentation is a term used to denote abnormal genetic material within the sperm, which in turn may lead to male subfertility, IVF failure and miscarriage. Men with normal sperm parameters are also found to have high sperm DNA fragmentation. We are the only centre where our embryologist performs semen analysis and sperm DNA fragmentation. Hence you can expect quality and accuracy in your report.

Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)

Intrauterine insemination (IUI) is a simple procedure through which motile spermatozoa are directly inseminated inside the uterus, which helps healthy sperms get closer to the egg. Qualified Sperm banks will provide donor sperm for IUI. The donor will be anonymous. Era Test

Endometrial Receptivity Array, endometrial receptivity test, endometrial receptivity analysis. A molecular diagnostic test used to assess the endometrial status and to determine whether or not the patient's endometrium (uterine lining) had a receptive state seen from the gene profile) at the time of sampling before embryo transfer. The ERA test is recommended for

  • - Patients who have suffered recurrent implantation failure with good Quality embryo.
  • - A patient who had implantation failure with normal morphological endometrium.

In our centre, we are doing ERA analysis by a microarray which is a cost-effective method.


There are two ways that IVF may fertilize an egg-

  • Traditional IVF

    In Traditional IVF, 50,000 or more swimming sperm are placed next to the egg in a laboratory dish. Fertilization occurs when one of the sperm enters into the cytoplasm of the egg.

  • ICSI

    In the ICSI process, a tiny needle called a micropipette is used to inject a single sperm into the centre of the egg. With either traditional IVF or ICSI, once fertilization occurs, the fertilized egg (now called an embryo) grows in a laboratory for 1 to 5 days before it is transferred to the woman's uterus.
